yeah just see how the day takes you, but have a look at things that are on that day, so you can make some suggestions and see if she fancies it

I'm off on a date (someone from FB) although we have agreed that its not an official date, I havent been one in ages, so i thought some thing really relaxed like coffee and a walk along the river would be nice? what do you all think?

I'm also really nervous Sad

I think a walk and a coffee sounds lovely and the best of luck Smile

Tonight i had a phone call to my home phone. When i answered it was a recorded message stating that it was BT and that it wasnt a sales call. They went on to say that they needed to speak to me regarding my account (recorded message still) and in order to do that i should press one on my phone keypad. I put the phone down because i never had this happen before and it sounded like a scam to me.

Does anybody know if that was a known scam or was it a genuine BT call? Surely if BT want to talk to me they could get a human being to do it? Confused

What you describe is *exactly* a hoax email that was doing the rounds about a year ago. Now, I'm not suggesting in any shape or form that you are pulling our legs but I am seriously wondering if someone somewhere has actually turned this hoax/urban myth into reality? Good job you hung up!

i used to work for bt, in faults and i dont ever recall them sending those messages.
if they want to get hold of you, they will call whatever number you have down as contact and always leave a message on your answerphone

Oh dear i see it says here you are both in the london area - thats worrying, maybe you should call bt in the morning and tell them about this? It does sound worryingly like a new scammer that hasn't made the headlines yet.

One of me mates at work reckons it was a scam, whenever i pick up the phone and its an automated message i always just put the receiever back, in fact i hardly ever use my home phone these days, everyone calls my mobile, the home phone is just there for the internet connection really...

Some sound advice there Costa........Thanks. It is a way for me to get up the property ladder and him to get on it. I would be putting down all the deposit on it (approx 30,000) but would make sure that was written in that that comes back to me with possibly a percentage over and above that then anything else gets split down the middle. Im beginning to think its maybe certainly something worth thinking about and talking over with a lawyer.
is it possible that you still stay in your own flat and then he can pay the mortage and live in there himself..
or rent it out ..
