Hey, if you got the money you might as well spend it! I'm one to always save up the extra money I have, but right now I'm sitting on some and I really want to go shopping! Enjoy your new stuff! Very Happy

The only thing I'd say is that it is nice to make sure you have a few quid saved for essentials you might need when you're in a tight spot, even if you can't see such a thing happening.

So long as that's the case, and you don't mind tightening the belt a lot when it has to be done, have fun with the spending

I'm just coming out of a tight spot at the moment and, whilst still keeping some set aside for unexpected events, am very much enjoying spending money on nice things and visiting friends in different cities from time to time.

If a nice job I'm waiting to hear about comes up ... I might even go a bit bonkers myself Very Happy although not to anything like the scale you have done.

Hahaha, I can only dream of having that to spare on a new computer. But yeah, I could easily make £2k disappear if I had it.

As soon as I can spend >£300 I will be happy to upgrade. My current PC is quite shit, although it can still play most games I throw at it, once a few options are turned off and the resolution's been adjusted.

To some degree, I'm a bit bored of the ever improving graphics thing. I'd rather go for a Wii. I've played on it and I liked it a lot, but then It is aimed at a casual gamer like me, as is the DS which I own. Both of them only really appealed to me after playing on them, though. I was skeptical of both before I had tried them.
