I'm wondering if any of you seasoned lovers have any tips or advice on how to better manage the pain that comes with the tearing apart of 2 people?

There is no way to deal with it. You just 'mope' about until one day you wake up and she isn't your first thought, you don't realise it at first..

You do need to cut all contact with her, take down any pics, erase her phone number, try not think about her when you go to bed, you need to try not to cry yourself to sleep every night thinking about her.

The hardest part is not comparing everyone else you meet to that one person. There was obviously a reason you split. Do what you've got to do - i started writing a blog as i find it helps get feelings and emotions out and it helps to remove the awkwardness when a friend asks how you are.. (my friends read my blog)

But then... what do i know.. i'm in love with someone i can't have and for some reason my mind won't accept that. Denial i think they call it..
