There is. There really is. It's just that a lot of men seem to think that you do that as a show to get what you want, or cast it aside because it's 'fuddy-duddy' or stupid. I've heard the kind of chats guys have about women and believe me, it's far from savoury.

But that doesn't count for everyone. I'd like to think that I show plenty of manners and respect not just to someone I'm seeing, but everyone.

Spot on.

52 and still single. Why you may ask? Simply because I come from the old fashioned school that isn't given any credibility now. I get treated like an idiot because I insist on walking on the outside of the path with a woman. There have been a number of times when my old fashioned values have led to comments like "dork" and worse.

Someone Help. The guy whos ignored my messages for almost 2 weeks finally replied to my email. And ive decided not to message him ever again. But i cant resist him. I want to message him back. What should i do? Sad

Try finding out why he's ignored you.

1. Couldn't afford th bill and got cut off till he could.
2. Gone on holiday.
3. Just forgot to check his inbox, thinking he would get it in his regular email.
4. Couldn't think of anything to write.
5. Plucking up the courage to answer.

Many reasons for it, maybe you shouldn't be so quick to judge.

if she checked her outbox it would show if he had read the message or not Wink anyway, why play games, if you like him reply, if he ignored you after reading your message then maybe he was interested in someone else, that fell through now he's trying his luck with you? who knows!

You still have two other reasons even if he's read it. I have had times when I just can't think of what to say because I don't want to blow the chance on a spontaneous and probably inappropriate reply, then found out I blew it anyway by taking too long Crying or Very sad

ps. arent you the 50 year old guy that has a crush on a 20 year old? if so, surely you have enough experience to find something to talk about?

Yes, can't resist a pretty face, I'm still a guy no matter what age I am Laughing Wise enough to know nothing will come of it though.

Experience does come with age. Sadly, not all of it good though. Some call it "The School of Hard Knocks." I can start a conversation easily now but it wasn't that long ago that I was struck dumb by a pretty face. I guess now I'm more of a WYSIWYG type since I've lived alone long enough now that I can happily continue to do so if nothing turns up. If they don't like what they see, that's their loss.
