A cat might work Vi... it won't stop em coming in but it will hunt it down and make a nice meal out of it. Failing that, maybe you could try and get help for your fear of them. For instance I'm petrified of Iguana's but if someone I knew had one as a pet, I would go and visit them and try to overcome my fear. Does anyone on here have one as a pet?

and ive tried getting over the fear and i can kill them, but i cant live with them

Vi I know what your saying, twice this week we've had 2 big Feck off spiders in the bathroom, and i mean Huuuuuuuuuuuge, think its because its been so cold the past few days they're coming in for a heat. I cant kill them either and as much as i dont like them, i trap them in a pint glass then throw them outside.

Its probably been the same one thats just came back in again

its mating season, so thats another reason, they wanna get inside to have a party...
