thats TENS not tense. it stands for (something) electric nerve stimulator
05.12.2006, 01:51 quote
now i remember it's: Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulator. phew, nice to know my brain's still working ! I believe that a tense unit is a topic that belongs in the Sex forum

tense units are used by orthepedic speccialists, they send out pulses sensations on a injury long in healing
05.12.2006, 09:21 quote
Yeah ta peeps, I don't think a TENS unit would help this injury tbh, they are used by people generally who suffer from chronic pains, like arthritis and not so much as a musculatory repair method.
But having said that my leg is better some more, it's stopped hurting at the back, so i need to start on stretching it out again, but after a block from a head-hi roundhouse kick on monday, the inside of my leg now hurts to buggery LOL
I'll never learn will I? ![]()

Bruce Lee used a similar device to tone up his muscles whilst reading and not working out ect..
also they are great fun to use..connect a couple of pads to certain areas on friends arm, whack it up full, and get them to drink a pint...funny to watch..

I KNOW that but they are spelled TENS which stands for Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulator. I know this from having worked as a medical secretary for the past 13 years. I do know what I'm saying please don't treat me like an idiot.
