i have read a number quite a few posts on here before i posted this one and it has been suggested that guys post on here quite a few times to get known on here
Sorry if u dont like what i say but thats how it seems like to me.

Vetting purposes?!! Maybe you don't want friends, but I'm happy with the fact that I shall be going over to Ireland soon to meet 2 friends that I have made on here, and will hopefully be going to see a Rocky Horror Show with 2 others.

If you dislike the site so much, why are on here? You asked for some advice and a number of the members extended a friendly, wecoming hand. Mine suddenly feels very chewed Sad

And how do you know that a person is 'the right one' if you don't make friends first?

Well, i'm only here for friends.

If it were just a 'dating' site, why would they put the option of just looking for friends...?!

And some of us dont have the luxury of useing this site just for friends as moneywise pubbing and clubbing is not an option.

ok my turn....Skraug it seems like you are just here to vent yourself...I have been unemployed for 2 yrs now due to illness and circumstances, i am not the youngest on the forum by all means..but it has not prevented people from all over to want to get in touch with me..yes my profile states hospitality/tourism which is the profession i am in when working,,so when people do ask i tell them outright i am where i am at this moment but am looking for employment..ok i am a female and things are a little dif than males in that aspect...but if you are genuine and honestly seeking a better life then a woman will understand, and if she doesnt then she is only thinking materialisticaly and superfically and is that the type of woman you want. as you have read all around here there are more men than women and lots do not get that many replys...even the best looking, youngest and most professional...so chill let it come..reaccess your profile....

Everyone vets everyone, im not gonna marry the first person that turns my head on looks alone. What the forums are can depend on your point of view, some may see it as vetting, others may see it as an opportunity to flirt, the girl of your dreams isn't just going to fall into your lap, you'll have to get to know her first. Also its not Reds fault if you find things unfair, or find yourself at a disadvantage.

Its your opinion fine, you don't like it fine, just be a little less forcefull in stating it please, especially to someone who was nice enough to give you free advice
