what would you do in the uk?

in regard to present it always helps to know a bit about the person your buying for i.e are they the outdoors and adventurous type or opposite? are they creative or tomboyish blah blah

I'm going christmas shopping on friday, and need present ideas for a 13 year old girl.

She doesn't like pink or pretty things, and she already has more make up than me(and that's saying something)

I was thinking about giving her money, but knowing her, she'd spend it on cigarettes!

Any suggestions?

can you give me an idea what she's like? Is she a relative or a friend's daughter?

Well...she's like a younger version of me!

And it's my younger cousin.....she has just moved in with me and my mum. Confused

20 B&H ????

For the last 4 years I have been buying my close friends and family the same thing, I get the all a ticket to a show, this year it’s the Blue Man Group, but other years its been the Lion King, Cirque Du Solei, and others…

Its been a huge hit, as lets face it we all have too much junk, and I know I don’t want more, so this way we all have a fantastic evening out and a dinner together. I normally get the tickets for beginning of Feb, as Christmas is long gone and its cold and rainy and it gives something to look forward to.

I can all hear you cry wow that’s got to be expensive; well it normally costs me up to £200. If you book well in advance and have a group booking you get fantastic rates.

well gift vouchers mean she cant spend the money on ciggaretts

That is true......but I want it to be more personal.

I could take her shopping on friday...then i'll know EXACTLY what to get her. She can choose her own present!

That sounds like an excellent idea Laura, and she may even like the idea of going shopping with someone so much older than her. I know my girls would have thought it 'cool' at 13 to go shopping with a 19 yr old.

I wouldn't be able to sit there long enough and play happy families with my mum long enough to take a picture!

It is a great suggestion, though

We get on great with each other. We like the same music, both share an interest in clothes and make up..I guess i'm like the sister she never had.
