It is easy enough to change one’s profile and there is later no record of any ‘jokes’ or ‘white lies’, but it is a forgotten fact that everything anyone has ever written on the forum is archived for future perusal.

It’s actually quite hilarious to scroll back a few months and see how inconsistent people’s prejudices , opinions, etc are when it suits them, or how they will change their view on certain moral issues (or even physical attributes) that they aired publicly on the forum, especially if someone they fancy the pants off turns up here.

Isn't it a good thing to change or at least re-consider one's opinions/judgements/morals/values etc all the time? I do it frequently (at least the re-think *about* my stance) and this kind of forum is a good place where all sorts of issues come up that make me think "now you've said that"....."well, actually, on second thoughts....".

I think everyone is entitled to change their mind about things. Often people bring up a subject and makes someone think differently about it. Personally, with all the best will in the world, i couldn't go out with someone who was nearer my sons age than mine or nearer my dads age.
