Sad that u have to judge someone on a photo

not really, people make certain judgements about others by looking at them all the time, anybody that says they do not judge people from viewing there appearance at all, is in my opinion in denial. the only thing that i would say is its down to the individual how they judge someone, for instance if they wouldnt talk to someone in the street/bar or wherever just because they were not attracted to them, that might be sad, but to want to see who your talking to on a dating site is in my opinion not sad at all. in fact what i might consider sadder is somebody not uploading a pic for fear of not being accepted or liked, thats sad, but sad as in i feel sorry for someone that feels that way about themselves. not that im saying anybody here does, but self image for many people is a bit of a sensitive topic. i think those that do not upload a pic of themselves can only expect to get few or no replies. my opinion thats all.

I've talked to women on other sites with no picture but i feel i need to be pretty careful how I talk with them. By that I mean I don't want to go overly flirting with someone i've never seen. its like creating a situation with unknown variables which may change the situation once they become know . And then its difficult to backpedal without causing offense. Im sure there's lots of people who are guiltless in such situations. Im just aware of things. Its my nature for better or worse to think too much.

All This comes from getting carried away in the past. Call me shallow but I'd rather have an inkling that i might fancy someone before getting in too deep.
