I shall be honest with you here. i can hand on heart say that the v3 is not a very good phone in fact i proberly have onne or two a week brought into my shop to be repaired because of softwear problems.
Quick trouble shoot for you.
1. keep the phone switched on and remove both the battery and the sim card wait 10 seconds then replace turn back on and see if it works.

if not

2. phone orange and get them to text you the sms and mms text updates. once you recive them open them read delete then turn your phone off and on again and it should work.

failing that

where did you get the phone from??? and how long ago??? if within 28 days you can go back to the store and exchange the handset or if within a year and brought from a high street mobile phone shop like my store phones4u !!! or the enemy carphone and the link then they will be able to send it off for repair for you.

But if you want my professional opinion id get a new one the best phones are samsung and sony erricson by far. if you need anymore advice just pm me babe

I've had it about..6 months. Never had problems with it before..

I bought the phone from carphone (sorry, Danni!) Next time i'm in town i'll drop it in to them. I still have all the paperwork, so shouldn't be a problem?

Until then I have my old samsung e700 to keep me going.

I hate the Motorola v3 it looks good but its shit ... love my S ericcson k750

chocolate are pants, get the samsung e900, far better and exact same design. d900 even better...oops thats mine.
