Used to be in reference to computer hackers who were top of their game, then it became silly peeps who wanted to pretend they were hackers, then it became a term for 8 year old boys playing online computer games yelling about how they'd kick your arse in real life

leet speak is using different characters to represent letters, e.g. 3 instead of e. It was created as a way of bypassing American email checks that look for words in emails - like hacking, hack, etc Again, now used by 8 yr old boys

Meh, I watched War Games when I was eight, so like all the other kiddies who saw it, I wanted to be a white hat hacker and save the world Then after learning the lingo and a little programming I realised I couldnt be bothered

I have no idea what War Games is nor anything about computer programming- I guess I am out of that "nerd" loop. I'm nerdy in other ways
