Do girls need to be girly and feminine to be attractive?

Can tomboyish be attractive to guys?

I've come across many "tomboys" at gaming events and I safely say they do attract a lot of guys.

A genuine guy would take into account everything from personality to looks and just because your a tomboy doesn't mean your less attractive than anyone else. Everyone has different tastes but there is someone for everyone out there!

Yes tomboys can be very attractive, for me I guess it depends on how much of a tomboy you are. You dont really look like one to me.

I feel that a preference by a women not to wear pink clothes is not a disadvantage in my books! Functional clothes are the way I dress anyway, aside from when I'm campaigning for the OMRLP ...

In fact an interest in active or outdoor things (walking, cycling, rowing boats, camping, etc) is a definite asset in my books.

It's a fair question I think. I grew up with three older brothers so I didn't stand a chance at being a 'girlie girl' and I think my profession reflects that.

So what do the lads think?

Is a tomboy attractive? What do you prefer?

I think tomboys are real sexy Smile I'm not always into the whole girl in a pink dress kinda thing.

Well i think you need to quantify the word 'like' here. In India the guys usually dont like girls of that nature. Such girls usually just end up being friends. Have not see cases where the girl has actually had a relation. Infact a few years ago a very close friend of mine had the same question. She liked a guy in college. She changed everything bout her to get this attention. It didnt really work so to say. Sux don't it. Rolling Eyes The point is a lot also depends on the person whom you like. If he's honest he should accept you for what u are Smile Wink

i think it depends on the person your wanting, some guys want someone to protect and care for so the girly girl fits that description more, im a tomboy at times although i do own a pink dress (only on very very very very very rare occasions!) i jus wear what i feel comfy in and i still have the same personality what ever im in!

I once had an ex who told me off for wearing trackies! i had jus finished work as a sports coach lol! noob xD

if you like being a tomboy than go for it! dont change for someone, be yourself always =]
