Was it a Chinook? Cos he was down at RAF St Mawgan a few weeks ago, and you could tell when he came and left cos they flew him in TWO marry off great big Chinooks ,the ones with two rotor blades. (also the ones they move to shift Jo Brand about I think)

How they need TWO of em I'll never know though, but they are amazing machines, even when going full bore the engine sounds like it is just ticking over.

Back on to the main topic though..... I'm not surprised at all.......

I'm surprised it was allowed for one particular reason: What if he had an accident and killed them both?
And isnt it a bit like that govt ministers wife who did the family shopping at sainsbury and stuck it in with the house of commons food bill, or have i got that story wrong?
This helicopter thang, a bit of a piss take methinks. Bet no one else would have been allowed to do it.

Something else i miss about cornwall....apart from the smell of cow dung.....the sound of chinooks.
