I got in contact with my first love via friends reunited and visited him and his girlfriend with my girls about 18 months ago. We still drop each other the odd email... which reminds me, I must reply to his last one soon!

I did! we metup about 18 years after we went out together when I was 16, we were together for 5 years but things didnt work out, we were more like just friends in the end, I felt more for him than he did for me, so it wasn't going anywhere so I suggested a break..........so then he went off with someone else & i've been on my own ever since, that was 18 months ago........... Sad

I can say that most certainly I would.....This was the man who asked me to marry him, couldnt do enough for me and I did nothing but treat him like crap. He was in the forces and at 16/17 I was too young to handle that type of relationship. Now it's the type of relationship that would suit me down to the ground. He's been married a few years now though and (I think) lives in Nottinghamshire. He's married to the girl that went out with him when I was still with him so sorry if its a bit callous but to me her feelings dont matter cos she didnt really consider mine....So yes i would meet him...I probably wouldnt take it any further than friendship though cos its against my principals to get involved with married men but then again who knows what would happen. Never say never and all that

Nah, I'm nearly 42 and moved on, I was only 16 and besides he used me as a punchbag -- and he'd be 72 now, if he's not changed, then now he's just an OLDER bastard.......nah, definitely not.
