A lot of guys want love they just dont admit it cause they may be embaressed by it.
Some guys can admit it though and I have to admit it does feel great to be loved by someone.
As the beatles say "All you need is love" is very true!!!

We're not all like that, though to counter the question you could ask 'Why do women not want anything else other than friends?'.

Yes. Love is relegated to ugly and old (over 30 in your case) people I'm afraid. Jesus.

alot of men do want love, but as for being old and ugly, age is just a number and ugly to you, might not be to the next person, lower your expectations and try and get to know a guy first.you might be pleasently surprised.and as for men just wanting love, your probably right but some guys want it with the same woman for the rest of their lives, not a new one every day.x

I would also have to agree that there are men out there that do. As for the comment about alot of the ones that do they are much older. This is true as most people your age 18 or so are really just begining there life and they dont know what love is. Some may but most dont. Love is something that each person has to learn and decide what makes them feel good. Love can mean diffrent things for us all. Alot of men will not feel they are inlove untill they have been with many people and have experianced diffrent relationships and others will find comfort and enjoyment when they only been with maybe one or two people. Every one is diffrent like I stated befor. You must understand that at your age the men in your age group and you your self are just begining life. Not to say im not, but I know what I want in life and I know what makes me happy and thats my family. My daughter is my life and my family values are what guide me in finding some one I love. Having a family of my own is most important to me and I kinda feel like you. I always find my self dating women older then me, because many of them are more open and appricative of the ideal of having a family. Many of them are alot more mature and usally are more responsible. I had to grow up at a young age having my daughter at the age of 16. Like I said befor sometimes people dont know what love is untill they have lived through life experiances and been in multiple relationships. Befor I thought I was in love and I was very happy with the mother of my daughter. Then when she had cheated on me I left and over the years dated other people. Now that I look back though I know what I had with the mother of my daughter was true love. I look back and dont regreat any of it, even though at the age of 16 I was not really sure if it was love. Now I have had more experiance and know it was even though I did not realize it. That goes with the saying to learn from your mistakes. Offten people dont realize what they had untill they dont have it at all.

Well either way I can tell you im younger, im not the best looking but not to bad, and I do want love. I want some one to share my family values with. I want some one to live the greater moments of my life with and some one to help me in the not so great as I will do in return. I want some one that makes me happy and can put a smile on my face and some one that will be there to support me. In the end for me it always goes back to the family values though and how important it is to me to have my own family. I do have my daughter, but I dont want just I and my dauther. I would like to have one or two more kids and a wife by my side to share lifes great adventures with. Smile

Keep a positive outlook on it and you will find some one I promise.

Mark

Most men do want love but are scared of letting there softer side show, and you cant expect a man to love you straight away it takes time. afterall you need to be compatible sexually as well as mentally.

Tootle rather than worrying about men loving you, why not just enjoy the time you spend with them cause afterall love comes to those who wait.
You cant expect it straight away.

The whole thing about men just wanting love is probably a response to websites like this. If you met me in the real world, i would not just come up to you in the street and say "do you fancy a roll in the sack"!! Similarly i would not do it on a website. The only guys on here that do are either married and want to commit adultery or do some swinging, or guys that see a scantily clad photo of a young girl who seems to want to flaunt herself for no apparant reason, and puts in there profile they are after "no strings" or "flirty fun" or are a scammer looking for men to pay for webcam fun!. Dont forget, most guys just see whats put in front of them, and unfortunately there is a lot of girls here that want to be a player. I for one am not just up for love, i agree that it does make a healthy relationship, but you need to be healthy in other ways with a person first. You just havent met the right person yet, not all guys just want love, I would be the happiest guy alive if a girl gave me love, loved me for who i am, not who i could be and you just had that feeling that gives you goosebumps!
I know what love is but have just not been given it in much abundance yet Sad
So i think a lot of it is down to your age (not being ageist)! Its true that when you get older you do seek that happiness with someone, I would say most guys in the 17-22 bracket will definately be scared of getting into that sort of close relationship so early, and just want to have fun.

If or maker had intended us to love then s/he wouldn't have allowed us to invent football, playstations or short skirts.
