There's a type of person we crave, and a type of person we love, although the two don't mix. Can someone tell me why? Or is this just how 'us humans are'?..Mmmmm, tricky!

basically here is my take on the situation...

"Love" doesnt actually exist - it's not an emotion such as jealousy, greed, envy.....

"Love" is an umbrella term used to describe the Coalescence of several different emotions/feelings

"Love" is born out of trust, respect, honesty, lust, communication

Therefore you cannot experience love at first sight.

"Lust" however is a basic primeval physiological and psychological response.

It is intrinsic to all of us.

My theory is that we all initially experience "lust", which then is joined in time by "love" (the factors above).
As time passes "lust" is replaced by "love"

People then decide whether the feelings of security and companionship provided by "love" are enough for them - if not they seek an affair.

If it is, these people then grow old and grey together............

There is nothing wrong with people that have dirty minds!

But you are right about the bullshit, though.

Love exists, but you need to experience it to understand.

Love is a load of bullshit, IMO.

Somebody always gets hurt. Sad

Love cannot exist without pain.

That doesn't mean love is a bad thing, it's just that you need to learn how to control your other emotions, such as jealousy and lust.

Then it's plain sailing.

Sometimes the pain isn't worth it, though. I mean, love is great, but i just hate the pain that you seem to always get.

I don't get jealous easily.

If you're only getting pain, you're not with the right person.

I've been fairly lucky in love, so obviously my opinion is slightly biased.
