Love is real.
It's over-rated though, I can tell you that much.

I broke up with s guy early last month..And i'm still having problems getting over him. Maybe it's just me. One thing's for sure: He didn't love me back.

*sighs*

love is most definitely real. but there are all sorts of different love. platonic love, lovelust, truelove, hardlove, lol...... i have loved all my serious exes to some degree. if i didn't i wouldn't have stayed with them.

as for the lasting love..... i don't know if that's real or just a myth. i would like to think there is such a thing.... i would like to think i have a soul mate out there that will love me like i love him. but every time i start to think that maybe he is the one for me, it all goes tits up lol. so no soul mate as of yet.

I'm not sure if i believe in soulmates, but if there is such a thing, I met mine (and i know he thought/thinks of me as his) but we'll never be together fully. 'Fate' if there is such a thing, has decreed it otherwise.

Well, i have certainly spent a lot of time trying to get over past relationships and such, and it did hurt, of course, but the thing is when i was actually in the relationships it wasnt the best time of my life, is it fear of being alone that hurts? do we materialise that and mask it as affection for someone in particular? or have i just not experienced it yet? who knows?
