I have a... something I always wondered about men and women and what they're looking for on these sorts of websites.

The thing is, I never did fully understand, why is it that a woman always seem to want someone older than herself, whereas a man always goes younger? ie. a 30 year old woman will say "looking for a man aged 30-40", then a 30 year old man says "looking for a woman aged 20-30"?

Personally the age does not matter to me, but I sometimes will find a person funny, or will read their profile and find I have alot in common with them, but then I see the age is like more than 2-3 years older than me and I can't help but assume they won't be interested because they'll be looking for someone older etc.

It's a very good question..

I think women prefer older guys because the younger ones tend to be a little immature(attitude wise) (I'm not saying all are..but most)

i used to think i would never go for someone younger than twenty but lauras changed my mind

Generally, I tend to like guys in their 20's.

Not ruling out other ages, though.

Chavs yes I don't really like, but also these days there's been a boom in the amount of people who dye their hair black with either a blue/red/pink/white streak in it, have their fringe cover their face and claim their life sucks and everyone hates them, and how bad the world and everything in it is. I believe Emo is the word.
