I was confused too but found a wiki entry about mxit. It's a South African messaging/chat system which appears to be very popular, very addictive and, in some cases, very dodgy.

I think this is a classic case of boyfriend talking to other women in chat rooms which isn't always a bad thing but is being seen as threatening to the relationship. It does make me wonder why one would join a dating site to get advice about it though. No offence intended, just curious.

Umm, have you tried just talking to him about it? Us guys are usually more than a tad dense, so use simple words and short sentances Very Happy

But dont nag Very Happy Just explain what bothers you about it, and if he shrugs it off the first time, try explaning things a bit differently, if ya end up just yelling/moaning about it then you'll get his back up, but a calm and rational explanation usually goes a long way.

Sounds to me like you need to ask him straight is there anything going on between you and this mxit friend. Tell him if there is you need to know so you can get out of the way as you clearly do not intend to share anyone. This might not be how you feel but It may well bring out the truth out. Tell him if he is more interested in this other woman than he is you he needs to say so, because you too want to have some fun and that he has no right to waste your time if he wants someone else. This may well cause him to come clean about what is happeneing. Remember telling little white lies sometimes uncovers larger darker ones. If you become annoyed and confident with him he will repsond far better than if you get upset and try to cling to him. Its a simple rule with men confidence attracts them clingyness repells them. Hope this helps. Wink
