...well for me at least:

1. Women say 'message me' and then don't message you back when you make the effort (and I'm not even being 'dodgy' with my messages).
2. Women who do message back often do so in one sentence making interaction incredibly straining.
3. Many of the women's profiles are so bland ('I like food and shopping') that it makes instigating a message almost impossible.
4. It's been four weeks and whilst I've had a few exchanges, there hasn't been the whiff of a woman yet. Are there any women on here and do I smell that awful?
5. I am beginning to accept that I am a sadcase and that maybe the pub/club scene is the best of evils. This is not the fault of Flirtbox but the fault of my parents and I shall be telephoning them about this today.

Any comments or should I just get my coat?

Timewasters, people not knowing what they really want, judgemental folk and false advertising ('I'm really after a friend' etc).

So the same problems as real life I guess.

Marty, your post made me laugh out loud ....... read back over some of the older posts on the forums and you will find women moaning about EXACTLY the same things.

Age old problem of internet dating - everyone thinks they are one half of the brad/angelina couple, and are holding out for the other half!
