I am in love for the first time and I've already screwed it up. He had a girlfriend when we started out and I fell hard, he told me he loved in the first week and it scared me so I called things off and told him to go back to his girlfriend. He cried and I hadn't heard from him since. Only recently he's started taking the same bus as me to college and I've realised he's the one. He's still friendly with me and has gone back to his girlfriend but he seems a bit distant with me. I know I hurt him. I explained how sorry i was and how i knew i'd made a mistake in a txt i sent him tonight, what do i do if he ignores it. How can i show I'm not messing him about, and that i'll never hurt him again? Would you ever give agirl another chance if you loved her and she hurt u?

Try and carry on with your life and see what happens, if he likes you more he will come running back..if not, don't waste your life on a lost cause.

You are still very young, are you sure it is love you are feeling?
Hell i'm 23 and i'm still not sure what that funny feeling in my stomach really is. Quite probably the pizza i had the night before.

If the guy has a girlfriend already i'd leave it be, i'd consider not even waiting to see if he becomes availiable again.
I wasted a lot of my youth waiting for one girl which never happened and i regret it.

Wish you well in your decision

the guy does have a girlfriend already...do you want a boyfriend who tends to forget that he already has a girlfriend?

think of it as a lucky escape

I agree with that elkabong...... once a cheat!!! always a cheat!!!!! Confused

Why do you say that ??

I'd be a bit cagey with someone who cheated on their previous boyfriend,... there are always unique situations I know, but right is right and wrong is wrong.

Still, time will tell all. I don't think anybody here will tell you anything you don't already know.

Why do you say that ??

I've known too many people with either extenuating circumstances or have only done it the once. Affairs are not nice, especially to the person that gets left out and hurt, but the fact is, not everyone that has an affair meant it to happen. I should think there are a number of people about who's heart talks louder than their head.

In the situation that the poster tells of, I'm inclined to agree with what everyone's saying, but not all 'adulterers' are serial ones.

Well having been on the receiving end of a cheat twice now I don’t have anything particularly good to say in their favour. If you don’t love someone enough to be faithful to them then you should at least have the guts to leave them before jumping into someone else’s bed. Nuff said
