I think it's great if a guy makes eye contact with you.

It at least shows he's the slightest bit interested.

First impressions, I think it is important to remember that you should not talk too much about yourself. Try to ask questions, wanting to know everything about the person you are with at the time. Talking nonstop about yourself says exactly what kind of person you are, into yourself well and truly, never mind the rest of the world.
