I never believed anyone when they said someone will turn up when you're not looking and least expecting. I've been on my own or in stupid relationships for so long Hannah that i forgot what it felt like to be wanted for all the right reasons....and then i found Tony.

In recent days I ended a 5 yrs on/off relationship because it was going nowhere and I was fed up with just being someone to lean on in times of trouble (he is full-time carer to his mum with cancer, his dad with dementia and mildly brain-injured brother) and "we" had no quality time of our own.
I decided the only way forward for me was to break free and strike out alone....
Two days later he rang me in great distress, his brother has cancer and has weeks to live.
I couldnt exactly respond "I told you to stay out of my life" so......now I am yet again someone to lean on and phone when needing a listening ear.....
Hhhhmmm. So, still not a 'relationship' and I realise that I would be asking for trouble to try to even consider launching into another one right now......but as the OP asks if there is anyone on here that I'd be interested in a relationship with? I have to say, I would never even think that far without getting to know someone properly and in person......so? you never know who might turn up at the London daytime meet?
