Last night i saw Seven Pounds.

I have never been speechless after a film (unless it was really crap!) but i was after this one. It is something that makes you think very deeply about your own life and circumstances and how we all deal with things.

Absolutely Amazing!

I saw Frost/Nixon today. One of the best films I have seen in quite some time. While the outcome is inevitable, the lead-up to that famous climax is utterly compelling.

I watched Little Voice for the umpteenth time, and as usual blubbed all the way through it.
Who on earth decided to advertise it as a comedy???

Oooops. "Burn after reading" was actually the director's comments after reading the script when he handed it to the producer, you've heard of chinese whispers? Well, this was the result.... Laughing

I watched Dark Knight last night,

Heath Ledger did an outstanding job as the joker!

That's going to be a hard one to top when they decide to remake batman...again.

Just watched JCVD.
I'm a HUGE van damme fanatic but not sure about this one.
Think I will have to watch it a few more times before I know what I really think of it.
I found it rather arty-farty deep meaningful talky surreal and odd.......but good, just because it's van damme regardless!

I just watched a fist full of dollars and a few dollars more back2back and good grief look at the time! the good the bad and the wotsits will have to wait another day.
Ooooh i just love those old westerns!

And the night before i watched the shootist another good cowboy film, and pans labyrinth not sure if i liked that it was a kids film really with sinister dark undertones more suited to adult viewing....couldnt help thinking "take out the dark violent bits and it would be a great disney film".

I just watched sleepy hollow - not sure if it was supposed to be a comedy, but it was chuffing good fun! Johnny Deppe is one heck of an actor.

The other night i watched "inside I'm dancing" starring James McAvoy. Very good film, bit sad but quite inspirational. Is it me that just thinks every thing McAvoy touches turns to gold? I have not seen him do a crap film yet!

I just watched Couscous.

Ok so its all in French but it has English subtitles - it starts a bit slow - felt a bit like watching Big Brother, a fly on the wall - but the drama/storyline is really gripping - had an odd abrupt (and not paritcularly happy) ending, but I definitely recommend it to anyone who doesnt mind there not being lots of car chases or beat 'em up blood and guts.

Very Happy
