One of my favourites, it's excellent. I don't understand why a lot of people don't like it.

Completely different. In fact it's like comparing a Reliant Robin and a Space Shuttle.
Just because they both have a smart socially awkward guy in doesn't mean they are in any way the same.

Sorry if that's the way it came across, I didn't mean it to. I just don't think they're very similar at all.
I do like Big Bang Theory, it's a decent show in it's own right.

Ha, ha! You did say it was like, "comparing a Reliant Robin to a Space Shuttle" though

The IT's HR crowd should headhunt Dobby from Peep Show IMO

I guess it could have been misconstrued as defensive, I just wanted to highlight how different I found them. Once again my apologies.

i just watched a few episodes of the big bang thingy.. Yeah, there really is a massive difference. one mainly is that theyre scientists, not it techs.

Speaking of rip off though, when was the big bang theory made? because with America's track record in ripping shit off i bet IT crowd was out first.

Examples?

Rugby
Places
Football
The office (Granted, the US version is better)
