I know im taking a risk here, but im going to come out of the closet anyway and declare to the world that im a Star Trek fan.

So whats your favorite Star Trek movie?

Mine has to be Star Trek Generations. It had the two best captains ever to exist and the best Sci- Fi Crash sequence i have ever seen. Not to mention that the opening sequence where the bottle of wine floats through space and crashes onto the bow of the Enterprise B was nothing short of a beautiful moment.

I'm a bit of a Trekky too, unfortunately I'm lousy with film names so you'll all have to guess by the description.

I liked the one where poor Chekov has that thing put in his ear. Always loved Chekov, dead cute. And that accent!! MMmmmm Twisted Evil

And then there's the one with the Borgs where Data is assimilated. Big fan of Data too

So over to you guys..... name those films!!

Is Generations the one with Picard and Kirk? Where they save a planet form being anihalated by....... oh, wotsits chops?!! from Planet of the Apes!!

The one where chekov has the thing in his ear is star trek 2 the wrath of kahn.

The one where the borg assimilate data is star trek 8 first contact.

I didn't know that your man malcolm mcDowell from generations was in planet of the apes, but the actor who played Khan in star trek 2 was in 2 of the ape movies.

Didn't know you were a trek fan red Very Happy

Haven't watched the films for ages tbh but as a true geek should be I'm still a bit of a trekky. Halfway through voyager at the moment. Loved Enterprise and was gutted when it was cancelled early. Should also include fave series in this thread I think which for me is Enterprise Very Happy As for film, I would have to say 'the voyage home'.

really?

I missed most of enterprise unfortunatly, i didn't have a TV at the time it came out. But i did catch the first few episodes. It seemed okay but The Next Generation will always be the one for me.

The voyage home was great actually. I think its the most highest grossing of all the movies, and the light tounge in cheek attitude of it was refreshing.

Ahh Deep Space Nine.

very good series, brave choice by the creaters to do post colonialism and star trek racial politics. I missed most of it unfortunatly because i left home at that time...
