I always got a bit scared of Ben Kingsley as Don Logan in Sexy Beast – I thought he was like a British version of Joe Pesci from Goodfellas.

I really like the film dead man's shoes with Paddy Considine, it's directed by Shane Meadows.

He plays a really good psychopath. Check it out if you've not seen it.

There is an episode of Cracker that Robert Carlyle is in...To be a somebody, it's called.

Absolutely brilliant.

Or like LV said, Kathy Bates in Misery. "I don't like the rain."

Yeah, Robert Carlyle was pretty good as Begbie in Trainspotting too. He can do 'nutter' pretty well. It was just a shame he wasn't used to his full potential in The World Is Not Enough

Jack Nicholson in The Shining of course. But also, surprisingly, Matt Damon in Talented Mr Ripley.

A real recorded interview with the serial killer Ted Bundy before his execution. Second to him: Rod Hull and Emu, before Rod fell off the house roof and died.

Brian Cox - the definitive Hannibal Lecter in 'Manhunter' (superior in so many ways to Silence of the Lambs and its awful sequels).

Brad Pitt as a white trash serial killer in 'Kalifornia'.
