stargate was a great movie...but it was vastly overshadowed by the excellant Stargate SG-1....possibly the greatest tv show ever made all though i wish firefly had run longer

Love the old sci-fi movies from the 1950's, The Incredible Shrinking Man, Tarantula!, The Thing From Another World, This Island Earth etc etc - my favourite from this era is probably It Came From Outer Space which started the craze for BEM's (BUG EYED MONSTERS!!).

Twelve Monkeys is good, and Fifth Element.

I really like Minority Report, The Fifth Element and Space Balls (don't know if the last one counts though )
