one of the most over-rated films ever. one for ASDA mums everywhere. McVicar. Scum. Mean Machine. More like a prison drama Smile

I love that film, I'm watching it too - it doesn't matter how many times I watch it, it's still one of my all-time favourites - even tho I always cry when Brooks does what he does - don't wanna say in case someone watches it for the first time and I spoil it for them! Anybody know which Mozart piece that is that Andy plays to the prisoners? And has anybody else noticed that the Raquel Welch poster is stuck back down - how the sam hill does he manage that??

I was referring to the Burt Reynolds version of MM. Class. Really Shawshank Redemption is the film equivalent of Tom Hanks.

How can you say that?? Tom Hanks as an actor is the equivalent of undercooked porridge. Shawshank just IS NOT that bland.

Thank you for the welcome! I have not seen the film in years but I thought it was a bit more Saturday night than Shawshanke - which is amazing but not in the mood for it!
