recon i've seen it about 20 times over the years and i recon the next time it's on i'll give it another view. it's one of those films that you watch all the way through 'cause your looking forward to the end. one of the top 5 ever made.

i know exactly what u mean. i still feel all riteous when the warden discovers the tunnel Very Happy and you have to love the cheesiness of some of the commentary "its the kind of feeling only a free man can feel, a free man at the start of a journey whose end is undecided" hehehe, but yeah, i never get bored of it...

thing about green mile, its excellent but i always get the feeling ive been watching it for too long by the time its near the end, doesnt seem to have as many things going on as shawshank in my opinion... but evry1 sees things differently Razz

perhaps a liiittlle bit cheesy (not much) clint eastwood western where he plays an aged reformed assasin who comes back to do one last job. morgan freeman and (names a blank, i'll get it as soon as i hit the enter button) play supporting roles.

My thoughts exactly.

There's nothing wrong with Shawshank, I just didn't think it was one of the best films i've ever seen like most people seem to think...
