It has to be either Al Pacino, Robert De Niro or Mel Gibson.
I can't choose between them.
There was a pretty bad film I saw a couple of months ago that had Al Pacino in, but he was still great.

Damn.
Erase my first answer!
Clint Eastwood.
I can't believe i missed him out in the first place.
And I only watched one of his films last night...

Al Pacino........ De Niro was a favourite until he started the comedy films !!! Good films, just spoilt him as an icon !!
Christian Bale's a good one. Female........ as an actress Kate Winslet, the rest are just eye candy. |
Good choice in Al Pacino & Kate Winslet.
My favourite actress has to be Judi Dench.

Your not alone...... i didn't watch Striptease cos i thought Demi Moore is a good actress !!! |
Demi Moore is hot. (I don't 'like' females, but can admit when one is hot/pretty!)

Demi Moore is a sexy attractive woman..... but its her slightly gravelly voice that does it for me most ! |
I think that's what does it for most men that like her.

Totally agree with Tom Hanks, though not seen castaway. Other fantastic actors: Sean Connery, Nicholas Cage, John Travolta, Adam Sandler and Robin Williams of course just to mention a few. Drew Barrymore and Jodi Foster for the actresses. Loads i like but got a memory block lol

edward norton... underused in my opinion..
brude willis... only one character but fantastically played..
phillip seamore hoffman - just brilliant in everything
cameron dias - not afraid to make an arse of herself and some strong performances
tim robbins
