If you like horror, go see it. It's excellent, the ending is a bit dull, but apart from that it'a pretty good.
There's a few good jumpy bits, and I never jump (at films.)

I heard from 2 different people in the chatroom lastnight that it was rubbish, one said she laughed at most of it, btw the 2 people went to the same cineama & also attend the same college but do not know each other, whats the chance in that happening?

....I dont go to the cinema so can't really comment on the above mentioned film, although horror is one of my fav film types..

Completely disagree, thought it was one of the worse films ive seen in a long time! Not scary at all, i think i jumped twice when the door slammed and when she was dragged out of the bed! And i do love a good scary film, this just didnt live up to it! Out of 10 id give it 1!

On a different type of film note id highly recommend Law abiding citizen with Gerard Butler and Jamie fox, the ending was so disappointing but besides that its a really good film and has now made me really like Gerard butler!

I loved it, but the ending ruined it. It all happened in the course of 3 minutes, and that was it. They shouldve definately gone back to the drawing board on that ending.

That's one of three filmed endings, and to be honest, none of the others could have been any worse.

All these types of films say they are based on true events, its a cope out to fool the viewer in to making them be more scared so that they actually believe this oculd happen to them! Its being compared to the blair witch movie but i didnt rate that much but atleast that offered alot more scares to the viewer!

These paranormal activities do happen. I remember years ago I went out and got very drunk. When I woke up in the morning I found a ghost had pissed my bed.

there is a german version of the story called requiem which is apparently closer to the actual real story and a whole lot scarier but i havent got the brain power 4 subtitles!

thats harsh! Actually i did watch the orphanage and that was in subtitles and gotta say i switched off from the subtitles and just got in to the film! But it might have helped that the spanish language and accent is quite appealing where as german quite frankly doesnt do it for me!

All of the best horror is foreign language missjb, you're going to miss out on the best of it, which is a shame. I wouldn't bother watching anything that is made in Hollywood, it's not going to be scary, and it's going to be as predicatable as a Manchester United vs Dagenham and Redbridge FA Cup final.

Though i have to agree with her on some respects.. I watched this german movie i thought was a horror movie, of course i couldnt understand shit that was being said so it took a little longer to get the jist of the film..Then out of the blue, i find out its a fucking paedophile horror film. They have no boundries!
