Avoid!!!!

I actually like the book. I'm not sure about seeing the film, though. I've heard it's crap.

Its a good film to watch if you haven't read the book.

If you have read the book, put it on your 'watch when nothing else is on' list.

I found the film to be surprisingly good. Little bit long, and I found the acting a little bit... hmm... but it's better than the critics made it out to be.

I left the cinema feeling entertained, which is why I went Very Happy

Of course the acting would be a little 'hmm'..Tom Hanks is in it(I don't like him much)
I've heard Sir Ian McKellen is great in it, though.

I may look at it when it's on sky movies or something. Or see if any of my friends are going to buy the DVD, then borrow it off them.

Tom Hanks is an excellent "everyman" actor, he plays a good "average Joe", which could have made an excellent Langdon. Unfortunately, he plays a rubbish intellectual. Especially when it's not something he has particular knowledge of.

I haven't seen it, but interestingly enough I was out on a walk past Rosslyn Chapel, Midlothian the week after Tom Hanks had been filming there.

i loved the book, but thought the movie didnt live up to it, although i didnt excpect it to. angels and demons is amazing, when i was in rome i looked at all the places mentioned in the book, dan brown managed to stay really close to reality, v clever!

Well, I actually really enjoyed watching the film. True is that the end was too slow for such a long film. I’m happy that I’ve seen it anyway

Read the book and watched the movie..
Both were readable/watchable, first thought after watching movie..
'Books are always better than movies.
And of Dan Browns books, I concur, Angels And Demons, would of made a better movie..
I think Deception Point, is a good story and I'd watch that in movie form too..
