i guess it depends on what you want to get out of your date..

if you want to get laid, watch a romantic movie as it will put you both in the mood.
if you want to make a move but are scared or nervous then watch a scary film then you can get scared and touch each other for support..
if you want to have fun and break the ice then watch a comedy.

last movie date I went on was Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (which shows you how often I take girls out to the cinema). I find cinema dates a little odd, especially first dates, as you can't really talk & I get really paranoid about making noise eating popcorn..

i like "Dracula"-with gary oldman and wynona ryder it has scary and extreme erotism and romance Toby what was yours you never said, haha
