I have used it a couple of times on other peoples computers and haven't noticed anything special about it. The speed seems the same as internet explorer.

By the way while on the subject of open source software has anyone tried using Linux instead of Windows. I have used computers with it on and it is much better, it never crashes for instance and has got far better virus protection because most viruses cannot attack the Linux system as most are written for windows.
