Hello, i had some computer problems today, ended up formatting my drive and reinstalling windows xp. I want to use MSN Messenger but when i downloaded it and went to install it says i need to do a windows update to use it. I downloaded a earlier version (7.5) but upon installing that and running it, that also asked me to do a windows update. I don't want to do a windows update, no need to go into why, i am sure people can guess, but i got windows xp pro here with service pack 2.
Does anybody know how i can work around this issue and get MSN messenger installed without the windows update?

go on Mininova.com
there u find windows genuine advantage.(torent) like that, u do windows update any problems.u will get that iching essage :" u might be a victim of a counterfit....., and your copyy did not passed the windows genuine ..."
then instal the "windows genuine advantage" that will take that message off, and your windows will be "official"
then messenger, anyone u want
