No....even a pencil sketch would be ok....or some photoshop psd file...or ideally an html template....

I can use photoshop fairly decently. Bit of flash too. Plenty of HTML.

I have no idea what i'd do to flirtbox, it already looks quite groovy. Not really unified with the forums though.

hm....well, that's the problem...the good ideas are the important thing, not the technical skills or tools...so if you have any good ideas, let me know...
some people say the colours arent very good...some say the fonts look cheap...and some dont like the shape of the boxes. but i can not find any font style that looks better...or style for the boxes that fits to the website....or colours that look better.

What about having the option of changing the colours ourselves?

Just add a menu of set colours(that includes quite a few options) and then we can select the colours we want.....

Well a universal colour scheme would be a good idea. I think it's best you decide on that first. Blue seems to be quite pleasant. The orange on the main page of flirtbox.co.uk clashes with the blue & white scheme on the forums. I'd make the orange sections on flirtbox.co.uk blue, put all writing on white backgrounds.

I haven't got a problem with any of the fonts. What is it? TNR? Arial's very easy to read, Arial and Verdana are good clear fonts though.

The boxes I think are quite pleasant to look at. Non-offensive. I think keeping the site design simple is a good idea. The left-menu in the main flirtbox site is starting to clutter up with things like birthday lists and the .mobi forum (whatever that is! Very Happy) so keeping the design simple allows you to put in more content without it looking too packed.

Just my two cents, of course.

That'd only work for the forum, which is all automated. The main site relies on graphics being designed in a set colour, unless the main site was rebuilt using some kind of automated design, the colour scheme couldn't be easily changed.

I'm sure some kind of Java or Flash applet could probably do it though. It's just more complicated than it really needs to be Very Happy
