I use torrents all the time, im currently downloading a 12 gig one! Its gonna take ages!

One tip though, you will find that most of the seeders (people who are currently sharing stuff online) will be from the states, due to their large population, so its best to leave your comp on over night if u want to take advantage of quicker downloads.
Also, you can always see how many seeders there are on the posting, so go by that, also look for how many downloads there have been, ok?
