I did have windows xp!!! Oh what a nightmare and a logish story will keep it as short as poss. Got a virus that just about killed my machine (lost all my pics of my little boys for the last 4 years won't make that mistake again ) so I swapped with my daughters which used to belong to my dad which was built by my ex husband. He always uses pirated software (pillock!!!).

Anyway, somehow it got detected and has been wiped off the system, so now I only really have the internet. No word or excel or anything and I can't bloody afford anything legal right now and I'm a complete tecnophobe (it took 8 yrs of persuading before I'd even get a microwave and I only use that to make porridge in! ) So i really need someone sat next to me to take me through stuff. All those helpful lists that everyone is so kindly coming up with is just freaking me out.
