Very sad today, but seen it before

McClarens got to go. Not just because we've failed to qualify, but because the level of performances has not been good enough.

I wish it was just McLarens fault, but it isnt. Some players dont seem to play as they do for their club e.g Gerrard, Rooney and Lampard, never seem to quite reach the level. Its been a problem for the last 40 years.

I can remember about 25 years ago a foreigner, cant remember who, saying 'England are easy to play against because they are so predictable, all you have to do is soak up their pressure and catch them on the break'. Nothing changes.

Seems our attack attack attitude just draws us into problems and leaves us open to quick breaks by fast skillful teams.

Also we have to coach our young players to be comfortable on the ball and not give it away. The ball seems to be an hot potato to some players.

The government should set up a public enquiry into British football. Okay the Scots didn't do bad, but they ain't producing the quality of players they used to.
