Ok it is early days i know. But sky is going on and on and on about an already contnder for goal of the season. Does anyone think this is slightly daft, for me however I am not complaing....the goal in question was Jody Craddock in last nights cup tie for WOLVES!
a SCREAMER from the edge of the area, scored by a centre back on a volley!
last night during sky sports gilette soccer special the pundit said it was the best goal by a centre back he had ever seen in the flesh....
NICE!

well i don't know about all time, but it is the best goal from a defender you are likely too see.

I haven't seen it, so it would be unfair for me to critique it. However...
I am betting that this is typical Dingle overreaction. As soon as one of their players does something right, they are so shocked that they immediatly talk it up for all its worth.

It was Sky Sports calling it contender for goal of the season, it was a sky sports pundit commenting on the match who said it was the best goal he had ever seen from a centre back in the flesh...not wolves fans mate...although we do agree

How's Beattie doing for your mob? good to see he's started with a well taken goal. Couldn't beleive it when you guys paid £1.75M for him, for your sakes you better hope that he comes with his own personal physio at that price. |
That was his first goal, in only his second game. Although he did score a hat-trick pre-season against Heerenveen. He'll be a better player than Hartson no matter what. Do you fancy having Sumo back?

On a side note...he scores that goal and then the Dingles bomb him out on loan to Stoke. hahahahahahahaha

Ah, but Beattie anticipated the bounce, rather than just hitting, hoping, and getting bloody lucky.
Wonder if Craddock will do that for Stoke?
