United 4-1 Spurs.

I have never been impressed with Carrick. I think he's the wrong guy for united..Sad
Hope he proves me wrong, though.

I think..
Two from Ronaldo, One from solskjaer(and the roof will come off old trafford and land on the sh*tty of manchester stadium.) and one from Giggsy.
And a Wes Brown own goal!! haha, no, a spurs goal by Defoe(if he's selected.)

Carrick is one of the most skillful players in the league and is great at holding on to the ball. But you might not appreciate it for a while, it took a while for it to show at Spurs. He's good at breaking up attacks, but he's not a Roy Keane. He tends to give it to other players to take it forward...and they don't call him Crabbick for nothing, he tends to pass the ball sideways.

BUT!!..he's free kicks and corners tend to be crap and need addressing, maybe Fergie is working on them, and he rarely got a goal for us. Although wouldn't be surprised if he got one Saturday Evil or Very Mad

Don't know who will be up front for us, Berbi has been having problems so Mido might start, and he looks fit and slim at the moment, probably Keane partnering him. But Berbi and Mido together could be hot and intimidating for shortarse defences.
Good news is Ledly King is back to take control of the defense and Chimbonda may start Razz

Maybe you lot have had an easier start then us which may have you in a false sense of security Wink

Carrick is so over-rated. We have Ronaldo, Giggsy & Scholesy to get the ball forward. What United need is a more defensive player, like Keano was.
Maybe Carrick did look rather good at Tottenham..but that isn't saying much Wink

Giggsy or Ronaldo take our free kicks and corners. Not Carrick, so that doesn't worry me.

Mido impressed me last season for some strange reason. And I have always been a Robbie Keane fan.
Is S. Malbranque going to play at some point do you think? I'll be worried if he does. Great player.

We have had an easy start. Not to worry, our first test will be against Arsenal a week on sunday.............. Wink

I'll be surprised if we get more then a draw, but its a funny old game. I'm glad Rooneys not playing though.

I agree Carrick has been over rated maybe, but I'm not sure he has fulfilled his potential yet. Carrick is defensive, but not in an aggressive way like Keane. He plays just in front of defence and breaks up attacks without kicking people as Keane did Smile

Looks like Malbranque is having an operation so will be out for least 8 weeks, but I've always rated him and if we can get him fit, might be just the player we need.

The goons are flattering to receive at the moment, Their defence hasn't been up to much but Gallas should improve them, and they are struggle up front. Unless Henry plays well you might not have too many problems with them.

Are you watching it on the box or attending tomorrow ?

Haha!!! Sorry, couldn't resist.
But I got it wrong. Spurs are better than I thought...... Wink

Keano...Kick people?! Uh..maybe. Keano was class. And it was great reading the scoreline that they beat derby 2-1...(I hate derby..)

Gallas..Over-freakin'-rated. I have always disliked him as a player. Scum, sorry, Arsenal, made a huge mistake letting the nut case and Ashley Cole go.

Gazza will keep Thierry(ooh la la) in check. Ok, maybe not.

I watched it in the pub.. It was great taunting those 2 spurs fans sat in the corner...!

I've recovered now Mad ..almost.

We had chances to get at least get a draw, maybe win it. But we lack that killer instinct that the top teams have, hopefully it will come. We missed a couple of easy chances...Fergie seemed relieved after the match.
I'm pleased with some of our play, especially free kicks and Jenas taking corners. Much better then Carrick Wink

Roy Keane was a World class player, I wish we had someone like him in Midfield..he was class.

Hopefully you will beat the goons, and I cant see them causing you many problems. Henry isn't saving them like he did last season, at the moment. They are a one man team, stop Henry and you stop the goons.

So there's a lot of 'prawn sandwich eaters' [Roy Keane] in Nottingham is there ?? Laughing

I'll taunt you, then! Spurs made me nervous a couple of times I have to say. Other than that..United should have easily won by at least three..

Henry needs somebody like Cole to feed him in.....oh dear, he's gone.

Eh...

A relived Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson:
"We beat a good side who will make an impact in this league.

Obviously me and Fergie watched a different match then you. Wink

The scum miss Bergkamp and Pires, especially Bergkamp. Possibly this team might be good in a year or so, but hopefully they will struggle this year Laughing

Everton did well beating Liverpool, I think they could finish in the top 5 again. They are unpredictable..near the top one year, near the bottom the next. They will cause a few upsets this year IMO

BTW..being taunted on the interblurb doesnt bother me Cool

Obviously! E.VDS made a good save. Dawson(Boooooo...) caused us problems on set pieces. Nothing else, really. As did King.

Bergkamp...He was pretty good. I was sad to see him leave the scum, actually...

I hope the scum get relegated with Man city & Sheffield United.........

Oh, how I loved the everton game..it was so, so sweet!

Dawson..the best thing to come out of Nottingham Smile He will be a legend.

You're lucky Defoe hasn't perfected scoring goals with his shoulder yet, and Mido forgot he's faster now he's two stone lighter.

hehe I don't know if they'll get relegated..would shut their bragging mouths, and would maybe be financially disastrous after just moving into Cashburden Grove. That's to good to think about and getting me all excited Surprised

.......Not JJ? Born and bred nottingham?!

Calm down! lol..Scum being relegated would be heaven for me! Especially if United got the title, too
