Which is better? And if Rugby - league or union?

Football all the way.

I quite like watching international Rugby Union but can't get into club level games much. And can't stand Rugby League, the whole having to give the ball away thing is just wrong.

Rugby all the way. I think football is easier to watch as it is a simpler game, but Rugby is far deeper. You get the power and fight of the forwards, the tactics of the line out and scrum, the grace and speed of the backs attacking. The tactics of breaking down a solid defence and the build up needed to find the gaps. I just feel rugby has far more to offer, but you have to be able to understand it to really appreciate it.

Football 100%

Rugby is all wrong, it was derived from football, when some guy picked the 'ball' up.

The ball is also the wrong shape!

I do actually like rugby, I find rugby league more entertaining because they have a limited time to cross the line, if they don't or can't score a try, give it the opposition and let them get near the try line!

mofox - spot on that man. Well said.

Blueeyes - yes, Rugby came from football, but only because football is so mind numbingly dull that William Webb Ellis decided to make it a little more entertaining for all involved!
