Well as a Newcastle fan who ever does win, I hope they beat Sunderland next season.

We didn't manage it this season, and if we are in the prem next season I can't see us winning a game. Too naive defensively. Sad

Top tip for Wolves fans: Don't waste your money on expensive new kits every season. Simply strap a large inflatable penis to your forehead, and everybody will immediately know which team you support.

I don't know who I want to win. May the best team win that's all I will say. I was hoping Rams were going to win the last 2 games and get automatic promotion so that Sunderland wouldn't get it. Sadly that wasn't the case.

Good point, poorly argued. Is he one of your lot?

nah it wasn't on the wolves boards...but it is a good point mind. Next year is going to be even harder with the parachute payments getting more and more.

I don't think he should have ignored Albions facts though. This season we were hailed as the best squad in the division, and have a chance of promotion in the play-off final, and have spent less than 2 million. We've had the money, but its gone straight into Jeremy Peace's back pocket without the club seeing any of it, yet the article makes it sound like we've bought our way to success.

yeah i agree the arguement is flawed, but whatever the clubs choose to do with it, that much money is wrong, and it "can" seperate the division. My personal feeling is that wolves for instance, this was probably the last chance we will have for a while.. Charlton will go in with a ton of money from bent. True Watford and Utd will struggle a bit more, but they will still get nigh on a fortune for the championship. But lets focus on who's fault it ultimately is....and that is sky.

Going back to the parachute payments article, there is another story that tells a true picture of its effects. Over on the sky sports website, they have the stats about how many relegated teams have 'bounced' back at the first time of asking.
