Rossi needs to join F1 and show them what its all about. That would truly book his place in the history books. He would be the second man ever to do so successfully, if Rossi won a championship.

Id like to see it happen anyway.

Rossi is the absolute Daddy.

I like Biaggi, but he had his chance.

There is no-one to compare to Rossi. There maybe never has been.

Despite all the mechanical crap he's had to cope with this season, I think he may yet win the championship AGAIN.

Mick Doohan, he was crem da la creme of MOTOGP, Had he not had that crash that forced him in to early retirememnt, Rossi would have still been playing catch up for some more years to come.

Dani Pedrosa will oust Rossi from his title soon, and win more championships than Rossi, That guy has a talent second to none.

Doohan we can debate.

Pedrosa? No chance.

He's quick because he's about 3 stone lighter than anyone else.

Because he's so light, though, he doesn't have the strength. If he bulks up with muscle, his main advantage - light weight - will be gone.

Can't see it.

A nice challenge he put on Rossi last Sunday, the rookie Vs the veteran, Dani is fast, very fast.

Mark my words Scot, he will be a MOTOGP champion, he has all the makings of one.

Time will tell Wink

It's his first year in the big class and he's doing better than Rossi did in his first year, I think?

If Pedrosa comes second (which I doubt - Rossi will be 1st or 2nd), he will equal Rossi's 1st season.

Rossi's career:

2nd, 1st, up a class, 2nd, 1st, up a class, 2nd, 1st, 1st, etc.

Pedrosa is good, no question, but I don't see the talent that others have, not just Rossi. Capirossi is a better rider than Pedrosa, for example, but he doesn't have the weight advantage that Pedrosa has.

Wondered where you'd got to Scot.

Yep Capirossi is good but he's just not consistent enough, or he wasn't until the last race, will have to wait and see about that one?

Well I am going for Pedrosa to do an amazing job in MOTOGP, if however I am wrong I will hold bot hands up and admit defeat gracefully

The weight thing, we could say that Rossi is lighter than Doohan, then wasn't Alex Criville lighter than Doohan.

We could go on about this all day long, and get no where between us.

Time will be the telling factor.

Just thinking Scot, do you feel Sete Gibernau has had his chance.

To me he is like a switch, he's either on or off.

I thought he was going to take the title a couple of season ago, the season where he and Rossi where closely matched.

The season after he seemed to be going for a world title in crashes and fall offs?

There are weight differences between all riders, of course, but Pedrosa is a freak. He weighs 8 stone or slightly less - that's a HUGE difference from the other riders. In any case, we'll need to wait for more than 10 years to find out if he is as good as Rossi.

Sete is a great technician, but he has no balls. I think when he went head to head with Rossi and was found wanting, it buggered his confidence.

Aww poor guy, he's not a freak man, he can't help being 8 stone or what ever he doesn't weigh.

I remember the commentators on Eurosport saying he might not be able to go to full race distance because of his small size, he's proved them wrong every race, apart from where he has crashed or fallen off, but then again I think ever rider has taken a tumble at some stage in there career.

Anyway I'm going to have a sit and cry now, hmm freak you say Razz Razz
