Rossi needs to join F1 and show them what its all about. That would truly book his place in the history books. He would be the second man ever to do so successfully, if Rossi won a championship.

Id like to see it happen anyway.

There is no-one to compare to Rossi. There maybe never has been..

Mick Doohan, he was crem da la creme of MOTOGP, Had he not had that crash that forced him in to early retirememnt, Rossi would have still been playing catch up for some more years to come.

Dani Pedrosa will oust Rossi from his title soon, and win more championships than Rossi, That guy has a talent second to none.

A nice challenge he put on Rossi last Sunday, the rookie Vs the veteran, Dani is fast, very fast.

Mark my words Scot, he will be a MOTOGP champion, he has all the makings of one.

Time will tell Wink

It's his first year in the big class and he's doing better than Rossi did in his first year, I think?

Wondered where you'd got to Scot.

Yep Capirossi is good but he's just not consistent enough, or he wasn't until the last race, will have to wait and see about that one?

Well I am going for Pedrosa to do an amazing job in MOTOGP, if however I am wrong I will hold bot hands up and admit defeat gracefully

The weight thing, we could say that Rossi is lighter than Doohan, then wasn't Alex Criville lighter than Doohan.

We could go on about this all day long, and get no where between us.

Time will be the telling factor.

Just thinking Scot, do you feel Sete Gibernau has had his chance.

To me he is like a switch, he's either on or off.

I thought he was going to take the title a couple of season ago, the season where he and Rossi where closely matched.

The season after he seemed to be going for a world title in crashes and fall offs?

Aww poor guy, he's not a freak man, he can't help being 8 stone or what ever he doesn't weigh.

I remember the commentators on Eurosport saying he might not be able to go to full race distance because of his small size, he's proved them wrong every race, apart from where he has crashed or fallen off, but then again I think ever rider has taken a tumble at some stage in there career.

Anyway I'm going to have a sit and cry now, hmm freak you say Razz Razz

Practice is exactly that, race day is the main event.

We don't know what they are testing in free practice, just like in F1.

I don't take any notice of free practice.

Anyone but Rossi for the win on Sunday.

As you know Scot I despise Rossi as a racer and not as a person, so it's inevitable I don't want the guy to win.

We have to have someone in a sport we dislike, and I'm sure we all have (sports fans obviously)

I wish the guy to breakdown every race/come 2nd, 3rd or wherever but not win.

You might think I am a little harsh on the guy, I can't help my feelings.

He's a damn good racer, but I dislike him immensely.

Did I mention I don't like him Razz

I like to see a race, much similar to Sundays race, but that's not always been the case.

Rossi dominating all the time, it gets very boring IMO, a bit like Schumacher keep winning in F1

Also a bit like Steve Davis in the 80's I guess.

Probably one of my pet hates.

I like to watch DTM and the likes, it's a much closer contest, I just love edge of the seat racing, and MOTO GP hasn't been that for last few years.

I must admit its been a little different this year, but only because of Rossi's bad luck, had he had no bad luck then I feel he would have the championship in the bag again (so soon)

So there is my reason for disliking him as a racer.

I do, and I also dislike Rossi.

Maybe it has something to do with sports commentators, they bull people up as they are a god, pisses me off.

I'm surer last year Sete went for the record of crashes/falling off, maybe it was the season before which wasn't bad.

As for this season like I say, if wasn't for the bad luck of Rossi, then he would be WC by now.

There has to be someone in every sport one dislikes, and I.........well you know! Smile
