i think this is so true scottie but its hard to fight the shyness , well for me anyway

Its what helps us stay safe in any postion we may find ourselfs in be it at a night club, meeting people for the first time to opening up to people :0D
Yeah it can be a drag at times but I would rather be what Iam and shy and I know for a fact that my shyness has saved me from things from time to time than being caught out in something I would have had no control over.
