this woman i met at school a few years back is a single mom. she left an abusive man with her 3 kids and - literally - the clothes on their backs. when i met her, she was going to school fulltime in an extremely demanding program as well as working parttime to support herself and her kids. i don't think i've ever admired anyone more!
