09.03.2008, 19:16 quote
Words, pictures, shapes and sounds
For us they make the world go round.
Modern life, silicone, steel,
For you and I they have no feel.
The world should not be black and white,
But every single shade of light.
Technicolour of every hue
Hidden depth in every view.
Shades of red, ochre, green
These all help to build the scene
Those of us in the know
See many colours in the snow.
When it comes to push and shove,
The greatest scenes are all in love.

One of my poems from last year, I shall post one on a different subject soon. Maybe as a total contrast the next will be on war, so maybe something powerful rather than awwww.
Enjoy your evening.

Thank you for your lovely comments, I thought that considering this is a dating website, I should have my first posting in the poetry forum on love. I did though say that I would post again soon on another subject and mentioned war so I shall post one on the waste that is war later this evening. I have been trying to carve a small vase out of marble for a sculpture I am doing today and I had a small technical hitch, it broke when nearly finished. Ho hum, round two on that one tomorrow.
