Alone

Alone in my life,
No shadows, no light,
Just me alone,
Neither day nor night.

Alone in my life,
Nothing to see,
Standing here,
It's just me.

Then one day,
Who but you should appear,
And suddenly,
Everything became clear.

There was darkness,
And there was light,
For once in my life,
It all felt right.

Why did you dissapear,
When happiness was so near,
Now i am alone again,
Wondering if i am insane.

Wishing that you were still here,
Emptyness yet again,
is within me,
I fear.
